The population of El Salvadorians is becoming one of the largest Latino group in the United States. This country faces great problems dealing with gangs and violence and the president must make wise choices in dealing with these issues. This country runs by a democracy and the FMLN party holds office. There were disputes on the validity of the winner of the election and fraud was suspected.
I believe their is corruptness in the government and political system in El Salvador because of gang pressure and great violence in the country. The amount of El Salvadorians that are now living in the United States is astonishing. The 50.11 percent to 49.89 percent results in the presidential election triggers alarms and suggest fraudulent activity.
The gang pressures and support changes the results of election in this country and affects the politics of this country. The measures taken against drug trafficking and organized criminal violence will be important to the politics in this country. The people of this country are greatly affected by the poverty and instability in the politics of El Salvador.
